Man Killed On A1 Near Peterborough Named
Police say a man who was seriously injured in a crash on the A1 near Peterborough has died.
54 year-old Barry Rowland's car collided with a lorry that was parked in a layby on the southbound stretch at Wansford at around 3.45pm on Monday.
Mr Rowland - who was from Ouston in County Durham - was in the car with his partner and daughter at the time. They were both taken to Peterborough City Hospital with minor injuries.
They were kept in overnight, but discharged yesterday morning.
